1.) Chevy Colorado ZR2
The new Colorado is a great mid sized pickup, and the new styling has made it a really nice option for the 4x4ing world. The Colorado comes in a number of different trims and special editions that target the different types of markets out there.
The ZR2 package comes with an upgraded suspension, a wider wheel base, driver controlled traction control, and a locker front and rear diff. The ZR2 trim with come in all cab sizes as well, which makes it a great choice for different groups of people.
2.) Toyota 4Runner
Toyota’s 4Runner has a long standing in the best of offroad trucks lineup. They have made multiple generations of the 4Runner and this generation shows they really know what theyre doing with it. From the first Land Cruisers to todays hardcore pickups, Toyota continues to excel the offroad category.
Toyota has added a new TRD Pro option to the 4Runner, Tacos, and my favorite the Tundra. The 4Runner has a great size to it, has a flex coil link rear suspension that makes it the most capable of Toyotas new line up.

3.) Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock Edition
The new Wrangler adds some spiffy new upgraded parts like the Dana 44 axles, a 4:1 transfer case for superb crawling, and a swaybar disconnect system .
The Hardrock edition adds a new look to the mix with the special bumper, hood, tow hooks and rails.
4.) Dodge Ram Rebel
One of the most capable trucks as of late, the Ram heavy duty rebel truck is very strong, its got great solid axles, front and rear coil link suspension. You also get a taller suspension than the regular Dodge rams.
The locking front and rear diffs are very helpful in muddy situations, which really help the truck pull through.
5.) Ford Raptor
The raptor is probably the quickest truck on this list, the 6.2 liter V8 boasts a 411 horsepower enginer. But with the wider wheel base and huge tiires, really helps it crawl through the mud. The independent front and solid axle rear suspension systems have been engineered to provide about a foot of wheel movement, which is double that of a normal truck.
